Efficiency Manitoba, Air Source Heat Pump Rebate (Residential) Homeowners installing an eligible cold-climate air source heat pump can receive a rebate from Efficiency Manitoba, with savings tied to your home's square footage and system specifications. The unit must meet minimum energy efficiency standards (HSPF2 Region V ≥ 6.6 and SEER2 ≥ 15.2) and be listed on Natural Resources Canada's energy-efficient product list.


3. Efficiency Manitoba, Energy Efficiency Assistance Program Income-qualifying households may be eligible to receive a free ground source or air source heat pump upgrade at no cost. This initiative is part of Manitoba's Affordable Home Energy Program and is designed to make clean heating accessible to all Manitobans.


4. Efficiency Manitoba, Métis Energy Efficiency Offers

  • A 15% tax credit on remaining capital costs when the installer is MGEA-certified
